The "DZ-1" wire drawing machine was developed for stripping aluminum overhead power lines. Operating the machine is very simple and straightforward.
The feed rollers can be adjusted to accommodate different steel core diameters (3–20 mm) using a handwheel. A feed area of approximately 100 mm must be manually exposed on the aluminum overhead wire. The steel core is then fed to the feed rollers. As soon as the rollers have gripped the wire, the steel core is pulled out of the aluminum overhead wire.
A special tool is used to hold the aluminum wire in place, enabling quick and efficient separation of the material. Tool inserts for wire diameters of 5, 8, 15, and 20 mm are included with the machine. This quick and efficient separation of the aluminum overhead wire from the steel core ensures that the clean aluminum fetches the best possible price on the market.
